Step 1: Turn off your engine and set the parking brake.
Step 2: Pull on the hood release handle and open the hood.
Step 3: To increase bulb lifespan, avoid touching the glass with your fingers and clean them carefully with paper towels before reinstallation.
Step 4: Remove the headlight housing to access the light bulbs.
Step 5: Remove the plastic cover by pulling on the 6 plastic rivets.
Step 6: Using a ratchet and an 8 mm socket, unscrew the 4 bolts holding the grille assembly and remove it.
Step 7: Using a ratchet and a 10 mm socket, unscrew the 2 bolts holding the headlight.
Step 8: At the mudguard, use a fork to remove the plastic rivet to open the access hatch to the rear headlight retaining system.
Step 9: Push the retaining tab to unlock the headlight and move it aside.
Step 10: Disconnect the first power connector from the headlight by pressing the tab and pulling on the pod.
Step 11: Disconnect the second power connector by pushing the red tab and pulling on the pod.
Step 12: Remove the turn signal light bulb socket by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out. Pull out the bulb.
Step 13: Insert the new bulb into the socket, then insert the whole assembly into the headlight, and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
Step 14: To replace the H11 low beam bulb, unscrew the plastic cover counterclockwise, remove the electrical connector, and pull out the old bulb.
Step 15: Insert the new bulb into the headlight housing and turn it clockwise to lock it in place. Replace the connectors and screw the plastic cover back on.
Step 16: To replace the 9005 high beam bulb, unscrew the plastic cover counterclockwise, remove the electrical connector, and pull out the old bulb.
Step 17: Insert the new bulb into the headlight housing and turn it clockwise to lock it in place. Replace the connectors and screw the plastic cover back on.
Step 18: Reposition the headlight assembly and reconnect the headlight power connectors.
Step 19: Put the headlight back in place, tighten the two retaining bolts, and lock the headlight with the retaining tab.
Step 20: Close the access hatch and put the rivet back in place.
Step 21: Put the grille assembly back on and retighten the 4 bolts.
Step 22: Refit the plastic cover and secure it with the 6 rivets.
Step 23: Operation complete.
