Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Ensure the bulbs last longer by avoiding touching the glass with your fingers and cleaning them with paper towels.

Step 2: Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake.

Step 3: Pull the hood release handle and open the hood.

Step 4: Remove the headlight housing to access the light bulbs.

Step 5: Use a ratchet and a 10mm socket to unscrew the two upper screws on the headlight.

Step 6: Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the plastic rivet from the rubber cover.

Step 7: Remove the cover to reveal the third screw holding the headlight block.

Step 8: Unscrew the third screw using a ratchet and a 10mm socket.

Step 9: Pull the headlight housing to the front to disengage the locating pins from the front fender housing.

Step 10: To change the H13 high and low beam bulb:

Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb by pulling the retaining tab and the pod.
Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it out from the headlight housing.
Insert the new bulb into the housing and turn it clockwise to secure it.
Reattach the connectors.

Step 11: To replace the parking light bulb:

Turn the parking light bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it out from the headlight housing.
Simply pull out the old bulb.
Put the new bulb into the socket, insert it into the light, and turn it clockwise to lock.
Reattach the connectors.

Step 12: To replace the turn signal light bulb:

Disconnect the power cables from the bulb by pressing the holding tab and pulling.
Turn the turn signal light bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it out.
Pull out the old bulb.
Insert the new bulb into the socket, then place it in the light and turn it clockwise to secure.
Reattach the connectors.

Step 13: Put the headlight housing back in place, ensuring plastic studs fit into the car body.

Step 14: Screw in the three screws to secure the headlight.

Step 15: Put the plastic cover back on and insert the rivet.

Step 16: Complete the process by ensuring all parts are securely in place.

Never touch the lightbulbs with your bare fingers.

Why is it important not to touch the lightbulbs with your fingers?

When you touch something with your fingers, you unwillingly deposit a thin layer of grease and dust on the object. When the bulb is lit, the glass becomes extremely hot. This thin layer of dust and grease is prone to storing more heat at this very spot, thereby weakening the glass and ultimately making it explode.

Always ensure the lightbulbs are correctly placed (flat position).
