Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Turn off the engine and engage the parking brake.
Step 2: Pull the hood release handle and open the hood to access the headlight holding screws.
Step 3: Use a ratchet and a 10mm socket to unscrew the two upper screws on the headlight.
Step 4: With a Phillips screwdriver, remove the plastic rivet from the rubber cover.
Step 5: Take off the cover to reveal the third screw holding the headlight block.
Step 6: Unscrew all three screws using a ratchet and a 10mm socket. Pull the headlight out to the front to disengage locating pins from the front fender housing.
Step 7: Disconnect the electrical connections from the high and low beam bulb, parking light bulb, and turn signal bulb.
Step 8: Take the new headlight assembly, which includes all the bulbs.
Step 9: Reconnect the electrical connections for the bulbs.
Step 10: Put the new headlight assembly in place, ensuring the plastic studs align with the car body.
Step 11: Remove any protective film from the new headlight assembly.
Step 12: Secure the headlight by screwing in the three screws that hold it in place.
Step 13: Put the plastic cover back on and insert the rivet to secure it.
