Honda dropped the official pricing system of the Accord for the 2020 model year, revealing a slight price hike ranging from $185 to $385 across all trims.

The entry-level Accord LX trim gets a $185 increase for a starting price of $24,800, as well as the EX and Touring models, which are now sold at $28,700 and $37,030, respectively. The Accord Sport variant’s retail price, meanwhile, will go up by $385. As for the 2020 Accord hybrid, Honda has not released any information about the pricing, but the automaker says it is coming soon.

The 2020 Accord will go on sale this month but without any new features. It is likely, though, that Honda will roll out a refreshed version sometime in fall 2021.

The Honda Accord was recently named as part of the 10 best-winning cars and has proven to be one of the most efficient models from the brand. But despite its consistent performance and remarkable features, it may seem difficult for the automaker to justify the price increase given that there won’t be changes to the current Accord for the coming model year.

The equipment list and powertrains–a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four paired with a CVT and the optional turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission–will be carried over for 2020.

The same thing goes for all Accord Sport models, which will be offered with an optional CVT or a no-cost six-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-liter Sport now has a starting price of $27,075, while the 2.0-liter Sport retails at $31,990.

It is likely, though, that Honda will roll out a refreshed version of the Accord sometime in fall 2021 with new features and updated styling. In the meantime, customers can settle with the 2020 Accord that goes on sale this month.
