All the anticipation for the 2021 Ford Bronco SUV that has been going on for months is about to come to an end as the company prepares for the official reveal this month.
But before its actual red carpet debut, photos of the production version of the vehicle was already leaked on Instagram, giving the public a full view of its final look.
Cody Mathes of The Raptor Connection on Instagram posted the photo of the SUV, looking extremely similar to previous renderings released by online publication Car and Driver.
It features a boxy shape, squared-off proportions, and seemingly more stretch to its fenders. The model will also keep its circular LED running lights, and the Bronco nameplate sandwiched by LED strips in the grille.
Wide fender flares, off-road-ready tires, Ford’s bead-lock capable wheels, as well as a beefy front bumper also suggest that the model could be getting a trim similar to the Wrangler Rubicon, although the name is still unconfirmed as of writing.
The Ford Bronco SUV is expected to get a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder as the base engine, while the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 will be optional. There is also no news yet if Ford is going to offer a more powerful engine in the future, but it is expected to inject a variety of options to customers when the SUV arrives.
Moreover, Mathes also shared a list of color options that are supposedly going to be available for the 2021 Bronco Sport. The list includes Antimatter Blue Metallic, Cyber Orange Pearl, Fighter Jet Gray, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Oxford White, Race Red, Lucid Red Pearl, Area 51, Absolute Black, and Iconic Silver Metallic.
The 2021 Ford Bronco SUV is scheduled to be revealed this month and is expected to go on sale in early 2021.
