As Ford gears up for the upcoming reveal of the 2021 Bronco, earlier reports hinted at the possibility of the event being an online exclusive. With the coronavirus pandemic far from over in the United States, it appears to be a good decision.

But as it turns out, the automaker is cooking up plans with Disney and other leading broadcast stations for a primetime slot for the reveal.

According to a statement released by Ford, the company is planning to air the official reveal of the returning model through several Disney media such as ABC, ESPN, National Geographic on July 13, and Hulu on the following day.

ESPN will reportedly introduce a the upcoming Ford Bronco on SportsCenter.

The 2021 Ford Bronco was originally scheduled to debut at the 2020 North American International Auto Show, but the organizers had to cancel the event in light of the coronavirus pandemic. To give the SUV the spotlight it deserves, Ford tapped Academy Award-winning director Jimmy Chin and Disney to come up with content that will make up for the botched launch.

Each of the three networks—ABC, ESPN, and National Geographic—will show a different three-minute short film about the “Bronco 4×4 family.”  ABC is scheduled to reveal the new Bronco at the CMA Best of the Fest concert experience with country music singer Kip Moore. ESPN will then introduce a “different Bronco model” on SportsCenter, while National Geographic will unveil “another Bronco” on the National Parks: Yosemite program with Chin himself.

This schedule suggests that Ford is not only planning to reveal the two-door and four-door variants of the Bronco but the upcoming Bronco Sport as well.

The films are set for release at 8:00 PM, ET. Ford previously announced it will open reservations for the 2021 Bronco SUV on the same day of its reveal with $100 as reservation fee.
