Just weeks after Ford introduced the new Bronco for the 2021 model year and the highly anticipated vehicle has already raked in 150,000 reservations.

The figure was announced by Tim Stone, Ford’s chief financial officer, ahead of a second-quarter earning’s call for the company. And considering the $100 deposit for each reservation, the number shows how high the demand is for the off-road SUV.

The news follows recent reports that the automaker now has an 18-month waitlist for the new Bronco. Despite production staying on schedule and first deliveries poised to arrive by spring next year, there are also reports saying some interested buyers may not be able to receive their Bronco SUVs until 2022 due to the high demand.
