What could be better than having a revived Ford Bronco coming for the 2021 model year? The possibility of more Bronco models arriving.
In an article published by Automotive News, Ford was revealed to be considering launching additional Bronco models aside from the two-door and four-door Bronco SUV, as well as the Bronco Sport.
“We’ll start with the three models that we have,” Ford’s U.S. Consumer Marketing Manager Mark Grueber said. “We will continue to look to where there are customers we could satisfy with Bronco and how to continue to expand the brand in the future.”
The additional Broncos are likely to comprise a standalone brand of “Bronco family vehicles,” which Ford also plans for the Mustang.
Some rumors are saying a Bronco pickup could be in the works to go up against the Jeep Gladiator. However, it’s worth noting that the Blue Oval is already gearing up for the arrival of a new pickup and has launched an upgraded F-150 with a Ranger and Super Duty currently on sale.
However, considering America’s love for trucks, another pickup to join the Bronco lineup is not entirely impossible. For now, all eyes are on the long-awaited return of the Bronco nameplate.
