Following reports of the new Bronco amassing 150,000 reservations weeks after its official release, Ford announced it is gearing up for the launch of the Bronco configurator.
Ford spokesperson Mike Levine, through a tweet, said the configurator is expected to go live by September at the latest.
At the moment, the website only shows breakdowns of all the trims available. There are detailed descriptions of the features that will be included in each package. But the problem is that prices are still unavailable for interested buyers, particularly the Sasquatch Package that has been drawing the attention of customers.
Despite the absence of a configurator, demand for the vehicle was high enough to reach 150,000 reservations in half a month. However, having one would make it easier to decide for those who are still having second thoughts about getting a new Bronco.
Aside from the upcoming arrival of the Bronco configurator next month, Levine also confirmed another report with regard to the model: official orders for the Bronco will begin in December, just in time for the spring 2021 rollout of the first batch.
To formalize the reservations, buyers will need to get in touch with a Ford dealer. A list of Ford dealers that will not charge a markup on the Bronco and will honor financial plans like the X-Plan is available online.
