Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) just announced it is recalling over half a million pickup trucks and SUVs worldwide due to defective windshield wiper arms.

According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall affects more than 550,000 units of the 2019 and 2020 Ram pickups, 1500 Classic pickups, and Jeep Compass SUVs.

FCA said the safety recall was prompted by the discovery of loose wiper arms that can reduce a driver’s visibility on the road. The windshield wiper arms in question can also stop working properly.

The automaker, however, clarified that it has no knowledge of crashes or injuries that may have been caused by the problem. Most of the vehicles being recalled are also in the United States and Canada.
