The official pricing for the 2021 Dodge Durango is out. The SUV is getting a bunch of updates for the coming year as well as changes to the prices of each trim level, Dodge confirmed.

It is interesting to note that the 2021 Durango is $6,400 cheaper than the other Hellcat-powered model in the Fiat Chrysler umbrella, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. The new Durango SRT Hellcat, which can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a maximum speed of 180 mph, is priced up to as high as $82,490 inclusive of the mandatory destination charge, while the V6-powered base trim retails for $33,260.

All upcoming Durango models will benefit from a design update, giving them a fresh and more eye-catching look than the current model in the market. Among the features buyers can look forward to is the 10.1-inch infotainment screen complete with the Uconnect 5 multimedia tech.

The Durango features a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine and will also be offered with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Customers who are interested to get the V8 option at a lower price can get it with the rear-wheel-drive Durango R/T trim that retails at $46,800. But those who prefer the all-wheel-drive setup can get either the V6 or the V8 models.

Owners of the R/T variant can also get the new Tow N Go package for a total of $54,395. The package features a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, SRT wheels and Brembo brakes, among others. Thanks to its maximum pulling capacity of 8,700 pounds, this option is also the most ideal for trailering.

The 2021 Durango SUVs are now open for orders save for the Hellcat, which will be available early next year. The first batch of vehicles is expected to roll out of the assembly line later this year.
