Car buyers in the United States are getting a Valentine’s Day treat from Chevrolet as the automaker confirmed the official launch of two of its new EVs—the Bolt EV and EUV—on February 14 with help from Walt Disney World.
In the latest teaser shared by the automaker, a little girl was shown using magic associated with Disney character Tinker Bell to illuminate the street lights in a neighborhood while riding the back of the Bolt EUV. Towards the end of the video, the rear end of the model is shown, lending a glimpse at the tailgate and rear lights.
Based on the teaser, the EUV crossover looks taller than the current Bolt model, which is accurate with the image of the two upcoming vehicles released in August last year.
It’s unclear what Disney’s exact role in the reveal will be, although the teaser mentions something about showing “how magic can take place when the imagination is electrified.”
Chevrolet has been releasing teasers of the Bolt and Bolt EUV for several months now, likely to build hype not only on the two models but for the rest of its electrified lineup. According to earlier reports, GM is planning to launch at least 30 new electric vehicles by the year 2025.
Following its official launch in February, the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt and Bolt EUV are expected to arrive at dealerships in the United States sometime this summer.
