General Motors will be offering three new value packages from the eight trims currently available for the Chevrolet Silverado for the 2020 model year, reports say.

According to GM Authority, Chevrolet will soon start giving customers the option to avail the Work Truck Value Package, Silverado LT Value Package, and RST Value Package.

The Work Truck Value Package is a bundle that combines two existing packages: the Convenience Package and the Trailering Package. It comes with features such as a remote keyless entry, power windows and mirrors, EZ Lift, power lock and release tailgate, trailer hitch with four- and seven-pin connectors, and hitch guidance.

While Chevrolet has confirmed three new packages, the automaker has yet to release an official pricing for the 2020 Silverado.

Interested buyers, however, should note that since the Trailering Package is not offered on any WT trim Silverado in conjunction with the pickup bed delete option, the Value Package can’t also be ordered with said option.

Meanwhile, the Silverado LT Value Package groups together the Remote Start Package and Trailering Package while adding all-weather floor mats, 18-inch Bright Silver-painted aluminum wheels, and 265/65 all-terrain tires. A standard LT package includes 17-inch wheels, but the new value package allows owners to upgrade up to 20-inch wheels. Other equipment includes rear-window defogger, trailer hookup features, and remote start and content theft alarm.

The LT Value Package, however, is not available for those who are getting six other equipment packages or the rubberized vinyl flooring.

Last but not least is the RST Value Package, which bundles the Trailering Package together with 20-inch aluminum wheels on 275/60 all-terrain tires and all-weather floor liners.

The automaker has not released an official pricing for the 2020 Silverado, but dealers are expecting it to come in the next few months.
