Chevrolet recently revealed two new special editions for the Silverado at the State Fair of Texas–the Midnight and the Rally and Midnight.

The Silverado Midnight Edition boasts a two-inch suspension lift and the features from the brand’s Z71 Off-Road Package, which includes Rancho monotube shocks, automatic locking rear differential, skid plates, and 18-inch black-painted wheels with Goodyear Duratrac off-road tires.

And as the name suggests, the exterior accents are all decked in black such as the badges, side steps, exhaust tips, bumpers, and grille. The only thing that shines a bit of color on the outside is the red tow hook.

Chevrolet will offer the Midnight Edition on the LT Trail Boss and Custom Trail Boss trims of the Silverado. For the coming model year, the LT Trail Boss will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Custom Trail Boss, on the other hand, will get the 5.3-liter V8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic.

In contrast to the all-black suite of the Midnight Edition, the Silverado Rally Edition offers more color to consumers. It will be available in a total of five exterior colors–Red Hot, Metallic, Silver Ice, Summit White, and Black.

The Rally Edition also comes with a body-color grille along with black stripes on the hood and tailgate, while the badges, sides steps, and exhaust tips are all painted black. For the Custom trim level, the Rally Edition features 20-inch black wheels.

Both the Midnight and Rally Editions of the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado are now open for orders. Deliveries are expected to begin before the end of the year.
