We’re excited to announce that CarParts.com, a division of U.S. Auto Parts Network, has opened a new distribution center in Las Vegas, NV, with the goal of significantly cutting shipping times for customers in the West. Our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, David Meniane, gave the Las Vegas Review-Journal a tour of the facility this past Friday, September 27th. The distribution center has already recruited 100 employees from the Las Vegas area, carries roughly 7,500 different products, and filled 9,600 orders last week. “If you get into an accident, you want to replace parts really quickly,” Meniane said. “So, the closer we are to the customer, the faster we can ship. The goal was to cover 94 percent of the country in two days or less and 26 percent of the country in one day or less.”
