While customers eagerly await the arrival of the 2021 Ford Bronco, its smaller sibling, the Brocno Sport (a.k.a. Baby Bronco), is tiding people over with the release of some important information.
One user on the BroncoSportForum.com website recently shared photos of what appears to be the automaker’s dealer ordering guide. The guide shows a list of the Bronco Sport’s trims, packages, as well as engine and transmission options.
Assuming the information on the pictures posted is correct, interested customers can expect five trim levels, most of which have outdoor-themed names. These are Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks. Badlands, and First Edition. The First Edition is presumed to be an early limited-edition model that will be available for a short time after the model arrives later this year.
Meanwhile, color options listed in the ordering guide include Cyber Orange Metallic TC, Rapid Metallic TC, Kodiak Brown, Alto Blue Metallic TC, Area 51, Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, Iconic Silver, Oxford White, and Shadow Black.
On top of the color selection, buyers will also be given the option to get two roof colors: black and gray. It’s not clear, though, if the baseline is body-color.
Other specifications mentioned in the guide also include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 17-inch wheel options, orange cloth seats, and Ebony leather-trimmed seats among the options. There is also a “Roof Conversion – Low Opening” option that seems to suggest a removable roof.
There will also be an eight-speed automatic transmission, as well as 1.5-liter, and 2.0-liter EcoBoost engines. A manual transmission option will likely be limited to the bigger Bronco that’s due to arrive soon.
Whether these details are true or not, customers have no way of finding out until Ford introduces the smaller Bronco sometime after the official launch of the Bronco Sport.
