Hyundai is gearing up for the official launch of the 2020 Venue and it looks like the model is arriving with a bang. With the recent release of its official pricing, the model is set to be the cheapest crossover on the market.

For $18,345, consumers can get their hands on a base SE model with a six-speed manual transmission. The price point positions the 2020 Hyundai Venue below its competitors in the Kia Soul, which is $190 more expensive. It is also way more affordable than the Nissan Kicks, which is priced $1,340 more, although it’s worth noting that the Kicks comes with a standard automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, higher level trims go up to $20,245 and $23,145 for the Venue SEL and Venue Denim, respectively.

The Venue is set to replace the now-discontinued Accent hatchback within the South Korean automaker’s lineup. Its price tag also makes it the second-cheapest Hyundai model next to the Accent sedan, which comes with a starting price of $16,125.

The Venue is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 121 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. It also comes with a front-wheel-drive setup standard across all trim levels, as well as an optional automatic transmission in the form of a continuously variable unit (CVT).

Other standard features for the entry-level Venue SE include keyless entry, an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, and driver-assist features such as automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist. The SEL and Denim variants, on the other hand, feature special interior and exterior trim pieces, while the Convenience and Premium packages available as an option for the SEL trim also includes proximity entry, push-button start, blind-spot monitoring, LED headlights, heated front seats, 17-inch wheels, and a sunroof.

The 2020 Hyundai Venue is due to arrive at dealership lots by the end of November.
