Just a couple of weeks back, a prototype version of the 11th-generation of the Honda Civic was spotted, looking almost ready for production. However, it looks like the automaker is not just busy with the regular sedan.

In a video shared by a user on the Civic XI forum, the new Si variant of the Civic was seen testing in Hocking Hills, not far from Honda’s research and development headquarters in Ohio.

The video was short but enough to show the model’s front fascia that now looks more angular. Unfortunately, it was difficult to spot other features as the car was wrapped in camouflage. Save for the clip, some photos were also uploaded to the online forum, revealing the Civic Si’s spoiler at the back.

Honda is expected to formally launch the next-generation Civic sometime early next year. It will likely be followed by the Civic hatchback, then the Civic Si.

As previously revealed, the Civic coupe will no longer be returning for the 2021 model year.
