Ahead of the upcoming launch of America’s favorite pickup truck, the Ford F-150, the automaker released the pricing schedule for the vehicle.

CarsDirect was the first to release the official pricing and Ford has since confirmed it with Roadshow, so interested buyers can expect these numbers to be the same upon visiting a dealership in the United States.

The base price for an XL 4×2 with a regular cab is $30,635 after the mandatory destination charge, putting it just $195 more expensive than the current generation.

But when it comes to crew cab pickups, the most popular option is still the four-door variant and customers would definitely appreciate a mid-grade XLT SuperCrew trim retailing at $42,005. It’s just $290 more than the last generation; however, the addition of a 4×4 capability requires $3,495 more.

The new F-150 is also the first pickup truck to offer a hybrid powertrain, which Ford made sure to be available in all trim levels from the XL to Limited. In this group, the price fluctuates depending on the trim and the standard engine preferred by customers.

A hybrid F-150 XL, for example, costs an additional $4,495 to replace the standard 3.3-liter V6 engine. For customers upgrading from the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6, there will be an extra $3,300 cost, while replacing the 5.0-liter V8 or twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 will require an extra $2,500.

It remains to be seen how the hybrid unit will actually perform, but Ford estimates a range of 400 miles on a single tank.

In case interested buyers are confused, Ford said it will launch a build-and-price tool sometime in August.
