Fans of the Ram 1500 Classic who are looking for a refresh will have to wait a bit longer as the Ram does not appear to be planning for one anytime soon. The model’s sales remain strong and it’s successful being positioned as a budget alternative to the current generation of the vehicle.
This means the present version of the 1500 Classic in the market will return for the 2021 model year, largely unchanged save for one thing.
According to Mopar Insiders, the Classic’s Warlock trim, which was introduced in 2019, will get a few styling and equipment updates.
Ram has not made the announcement yet, but it is expected to release an optional Warlock All-Terrain Pack for the coming year.
Customers who are interested in the add-on option must choose the ASJ order code upon purchase. The package will include Yokohama all-terrain tires, a full-size spare, 17-inch aluminum wheels with a matte black finish, as well as all-weather floor mats.
Photos of the new trim package are likely going to be released once it debuts on the 2021 Warlock trim.
The new enhancements will be on top of the previously announced appearance package for the Warlock, which features a bold grille with RAM lettering, one-inch lift suspension, heavy-duty shocks, powder-coated bumpers, LED fog lights and taillights, tow hooks, projector headlamps, black badging, hood decals, and an optional sport hood.
The final pricing and date of availability are expected to be revealed when Ram makes the official announcement.
