Ford loyalists now have a date to look forward to as the automaker announced the final schedule for the reveal of the next-generation F-150.
According to a tweet posted by a spokesman for the company, the well-loved truck is set to debut online on June 25, with production expected to start sometime in October.
Ford is not likely to give the new-generation F-150 a massive overhaul. Instead, the updates are said to be more “evolutionary.” These changes include a massive multimedia display and a digital gauge cluster, as shown in leaked photos that circulated several weeks ago.
The same powertrains are also expected to make a return for the 2021 F-150, although there are reports saying hybrid and electric powertrains are likely to join the turbocharged V-6 engines, as well as a 5.0-liter V-8.
The new Ford F-150 will be built at Ford’s truck facility in Dearborn, Michigan.
More details are set to be revealed about the highly-anticipated pickup in the coming weeks.
