Months of marketing and consecutive days of releasing teaser images seem to have paid off for Ford and the new Bronco SUVs for the 2021 model year.

In a highly anticipated official unveiling on July 13, the automaker introduced no less than seven different models of the revived Bronco. But after a few hours, only six were left available as reservation slots for the Bronco First Edition variant have all been claimed by customers.

The First Edition is the most expensive version in the lot and Ford allotted 3,500 reservation slots for the model. But all of these have been spoken for, according to a black banner slapped on the vehicle’s image on Ford’s exclusive configurator and website for the Bronco. “Reservations Full,” it said.

It comes as no surprise, though, seeing that the demand for the returning Bronco was off the charts that it crashed the website set up by Ford as soon as it went live at 8 PM ET on July 13.

The Bronco’s range-topping First Edition boasts several of the best features found on the lower trims of the SUV. It comes with off-roading parts that are seen in the Badlands variant such as advanced automatic 4×4, skid plates, and modular bumpers. It also has luxurious leather seats and full carpets similar to the Outer Banks, as well as blacked-out hardtop and grille, and a graphics package like the Wildtrak.

The model sports a 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It also features the Sasquatch Package of locking differentials, 35-inch tires, 4.7 final drive-ratio, uprated suspension, and unique fender flares.

Not to be forgotten are Lux Package tech features that include adaptive cruise control, Evasive Steering Assist, a 12-inch Sync4 touchscreen with navigation, and a 10-speaker B&O audio system.

The 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition retails at $59,305. The Blue Oval has not announced if and when it will be opening reservations for the variant again, so interested buyers are advised to keep their eyes peeled on upcoming announcements.
