The official configurator for the 2021 Ford Bronco is finally live on Ford’s website, making it easier for buyers to design their own Broncos before getting in touch with their respective dealerships in December.
The online builder allows the 190,000 owners of confirmed reservation slots to come up with their preferred configurations, all of which will be finalized as official orders by the end of the year. It also gives the buyers an idea of the final price of the vehicle as it largely depends on the trim level, two-door and four-door variations, engine options, and accessories, among others.
However, Ford reiterated that Bronco deliveries are not scheduled to begin until June 2021. The configurator is just for finalizing orders until December in time for the vehicle’s volume production.
As for those who were not able to make a reservation a few months back, it might take a while to place orders, as a spokesperson for the company said in July that “reservations have been so popular that some Bronco customers may not receive their Bronco until 2022.”
The 2021 Ford Bronco is offered in six trim levels: the base model, the Big Bend trim, the Black Diamond trim, the Outer Banks trim, Wildtrak trim, the Badlands trim, and the First Edition. Prices range from $29,995 up to $60,800.
Customers also have the option to get a two-door or four-door vehicle, while the paint jobs available include Cyber Orange, Shadow Black, Area 51, Alto Blue, Rapid Red, Kodiak Brown, Oxford White, Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, and Iconic Silver.
