Amid seemingly endless price increases published by automakers left and right, it’s surprising to find car companies that commit to equip their new releases with new features without a high price tag in return. On average, brands give their cars an increase of a few hundred bucks while some go as a high as reaching almost a thousand dollars.
But such is not the case for the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, which will go up only by as much as $150 at most.
The automaker released the official pricing scheme for the new Pathfinder, where the base trim Pathfinder S was revealed to have a starting price of $32,725 after the $1,045 destination charge.
For the more premium variants such as the SV, SL, and Platinum trims, the additional price is only $100, $70, and $50, respectively. What’s even better is that the price increases remain the same regardless of whether customers choose to get the front- or four-wheel drive.
Among all models, the Pathfinder Platinum with 4WD provides the most comfort and features and it retails for $45,655.
The 2020 Nissan Pathfinder is not getting major changes from the current model on the market. This means the 284-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine will be retained. The company is also still offering the Rock Creek package, giving the crossover a more rugged appeal along with different wheels, black wheel arches, leatherette and cloth seats, special badging, and a standard trailer low hitch.
