Product Questions & Answers

Q:Is this the forward drive or reversed, which is it?
Cary S.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Cary, I'm glad to assist you. The automatic transmission solenoid does not mention details if it is for a forward drive or reversed. The solenoids have numbering, or if a diagnostic is done, it will give a specific trouble code to identify what solenoids should be replaced. Try to run a diagnostic and get the important trouble codes that would come up. I hope this helps. Show less

Q:Is this the Shift solenoid D?
Murcielago
A:BEST ANSWERHi David, I'm glad to assist you. This is the main transmission control solenoid. This is not the shift solenoid D. We do not carry that shift solenoid D, unfortunately. We have a vehicle-specific service repair manual available, with part number, 36024, by Haynes publication. You can order this instead to help you identify and install the part properly. Grab our sale price offer and click the link below to order this today. I hope this helps. Q:How to install?
A shopper
A:BEST ANSWERHello! Typically you can get to them by just pulling the transmission oil pan, but sometimes you have to pull the valve body. The tricky part is knowing which solenoid is which! That information should be in a good service manual. Show less
