Q:What are the symptoms of the speed sensor malfunction?
Allen B.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Allen This part is the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor. The other sensor is the input shaft speed (ISS) sensor. If either of these two sensors falls out of alignment or experience electrical issues, it impacts the operation of the entire transmission. One of the most common signs of a bad speed sensor is abnormal automatic transmission operation. If the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) is faulty, the transmission may exhibit symptoms such as delayed shifts, hard shifts, and limited gear operation. Show less
