I have a 2012 dodge journey rt rally only 48,000 on the dash(under, actually), i love this ride worth fixing?
Front end damage, driver side bumper, wheel well, battery mounts(ins says total loss)all under head light!(??) Electrical problem is under dash at steering column (bare wires) that causes eradic displays, wipers going ,etc.(witch mood) repeated trips to shop to repair.
I gave up on "dealership" fixing problems...and being accountable for the troubles....I'd like to repair the problems and restore...my baby! Its 12 years old, and is only at 1/4 of its life expectancy. I cant find a comparable(under 50,000 km)in Canada!(any help here?) It does not feel right to put my baby to rest account other drivers neglect!!

Hi there,
It sounds like you are dealing with a very challenging situation. The best option is to have your vehicle checked by a reputed and trusted auto repair shop or a mechanic recommended by your peers/acquaintances. Given the extent of the issues, that now, depends on your financial capability and patience in dealing with this kind of problem. Go for a 2nd or 3rd opinion while comparing the prices and weighing your options. The vehicle has to be thoroughly checked by a vehicle specialist and properly assessed and diagnosed, for you to decide if it is worth having it repaired. I wish you the best.
