Hello there!
If your fog light isn't working even after replacing it, the first thing I'd check is the fuse associated with the fog lights. Sometimes, the issue could be as simple as a blown fuse that might've occurred when the water damage happened.
Next, ensure that the wiring harness and connections to the new fog light are secure and free from corrosion. Water damage can sometimes lead to electrical issues like shorts or corrosion in the connectors. If everything checks out but it’s still not working, it might be worth testing the voltage at the fog light connector to see if power is actually getting to it.
If you’re not seeing power there, the issue could be further up the line, possibly a relay or even a control module. If it gets to that point, you might want to have a shop run a diagnostic to trace the problem.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
