Hello there, Rock!
The P0466 code on your 2001 Buick Regal points to an issue with the EVAP system, specifically the vent control circuit. Since you've already run checks and haven't found any obvious cracks or leaks, a smoke test would be the next smart move. Even if your analyzer didn’t detect a cracked hose, the smoke test can reveal small leaks or other issues that might be hard to spot visually or with a scanner. It’s a reliable way to pinpoint where the problem is coming from.
You may need some parts in the process, click this link to be directed to our website where your vehicle information has already been entered. Simply enter the part's name into the search field to get started.
Good luck and we hope you get your Regal running smoothly again!

a cheap smoke test can be done with a cigar and a liquid transfer pump just hook a cigar to the pump and blow the air in the evap hose and look for smoke make sure the air filter box is sealed properly as well and find the leak detector pump thingy if you have one they could go bad and throw the code
