Hi there,
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives power from several sources, including the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM), also known as the fuse box or power distribution center. The TIPM is responsible for distributing electrical power to various components and systems throughout the vehicle, including the PCM. It gets power from the battery and contains relays, fuses, and circuitry to control the flow of electricity to different parts of the vehicle. Check your vehicle's owner's manual for the main fuse box in the engine and under the dashboard. At the back of the fuse box covers are guides on what relays or fuses are situated inside the box panel. You can check for blown fuses or faulty relays to start with. If you can borrow or rent a vehicle-specific repair manual, that would be more helpful. Replace missing or bad fuses/relays upon discovery. It is still best to consult with a professional for proper and efficient troubleshooting steps to be done. They have the proper equipment (to use) for an accurate diagnosis and repair.
