Hi there,
Yes, that is a big possibility the transfer case shift module has an issue if all the lights are on simultaneously the 4WD selector switch. There is a specific trouble that will show up if a diagnostic scan would be done. Either a wiring issue or a specific part is malfunctioning. Please click this link for more information (about) it from our CarParts resource blog. Problems can be traced back to the TCCM (transfer case control module). Most of the common fault code are P1867, P1875, P1860, and P1887. Click this 2nd link to see the details concerning these trouble codes mentioned (for you to be familiar with). I hope this helps!

You have a NP263 transfer case (new process) which can be a standard, HD or XHD. Regardless of model they all suffer from "pump rub" which is where the tangs on pump actually cut through the rear case half. This eventually causes transfer case to leak and run dry causing different problems initially most will never make any noise even the more damaged like mine that had no lights or warnings it just wouldn't engage into 4WD. This is a largely known issue that GM will not do anything about Regardless of the amount of damage. Luckily there are upgraded pumps, rear case half's and more available which merchant automotive supplies kits with everything you need for less than you think. I purchased the top kit with every upgrade and had a shop rebuild my NP263 XHD which all together cost $1100.
