No, a stuck Variable Valve Timing (VVT) system is not a common or direct cause of rapid battery drain.

Hi there,
In general, a faulty VVT (variable valve timing system / solenoid) is not directly linked to a battery drain issue. The part is responsible for adjusting the timing of the opening and closing of the engine's valves to optimize performance and efficiency. The real cause of the battery drain could be one of these top three problems:
1. Defective/faulty battery. An aging or bad battery may not hold charge properly or consistently leading to gradual discharge.
2. Parasitic draw. Some unidentified electrical components, such as interior lights, faulty switches, or other aftermarket accessories may continue to draw power from the battery even if the vehicle is turned off or noit running.
3. Charging system issues. A bad voltage regulator or the alternator is not working properly may cause battery drain.

I hope this helps!
