First thing check your fuses and then battery and battery terminals but if battery and fuses are good most likely it's your starter

Pretty sure is your starter , You can try giving it a few knocks while sitting and try to turn it on. If this works you will be sure that it is the starter.

Woah there, time traveler! 2098 is a bit far out for my diagnostic skills, I'm still stuck in the good old 2024. But, even with futuristic Vues, the basics of no-crank-no-start usually hold true. Let's rewind to simpler times, shall we? Tell me about your 2008 Saturn Vue, are there any warning lights on the dash?
A no-crank-no-start situation with just clicks usually points fingers at a few culprits.
First off, give your battery a once-over. Make sure it's juiced up and the terminals are clean – sometimes it's just a power issue.
If the battery checks out, eyes on the starter. It might be on its last legs. Hit it gently with something (seriously, a love tap) while someone turns the key. If it magically roars to life, you've got a lazy starter begging for retirement.
If that doesn't work, check the connections to the starter. Loose wires can be a party spoiler. Tighten 'em up and try again.
If you're driving an automatic, the neutral safety switch might be acting up. Try shifting to neutral and attempt starting. If it works, you could have a faulty switch.
The ignition switch is another suspect. If it's not sending the right signals, your Vue might just be giving you the silent treatment. Check for any signs of wear or electrical issues.
Now, remember, this is just a pit-stop diagnosis. If you're not comfortable tinkering under the hood, best to call in the cavalry (a.k.a. a qualified mechanic).
You may need some parts in the process, click this link to be directed to our website where your vehicle information has already been entered. Simply enter the part's name into the search field to get started.
With a little troubleshooting and maybe a bit of mechanic magic, you'll be cruising those streets in no time.
