if you're really in a pinch and just wanna hear tunes you can always go for a mini Bluetooth speaker or a decent set of ear buds.
personally, I'd find out why my radio went out. Maybe a fuse or a shorted wire somewhere.

\It seems like the radio in your 2009 Yaris Toyota has stopped working, and you're looking to buy a freestanding plug-in FM radio as a replacement. If you're experiencing this issue, there are a few possible reasons for the radio failure. One common reason is a blown fuse, which is the most likely cause of a sudden radio failure. Another possible reason could be a disconnected or dead speaker, as in some cases, if just one of the speakers becomes disconnected, the radio will not play. Additionally, wiring problems or a bad antenna/tuner could also be the cause of the issue. Before purchasing a new radio, it's recommended to check these possible causes to determine the exact reason for the radio failure.
Hope this helps. Have a good one!
