Hi there,
A typical non-towing type of mirror glass installation should be a straightforward procedure and not that difficult. Here are the general steps to follow:
1. Prepare the mirror glass and the basic tools such as a flathead screwdriver, a towel or rag, and thick polyester gloves.
2. Turn off the power and remove the key from your ignition lock cylinder.
3. Remove the mirror glass carefully using the flathead screwdriver by prying off the glass edges carefully to detach it from the base of the mirror motor.
4. Prepare the new mirror glass and check the back for the backing plate. If you have a silicone adhesive, you can add some on the backing plate surface before pushing the glass carefully to the mirror motor base (use a cloth or towel to wrap/insulate the glass while pushing it forward to lock it in place).
5. Push the mirror glass gently for the backing plate to lock in place. Once attached, check the glass if it is fully attached by wiggling it left and right.
6. Test the mirror glass by operating the remote switch.
I hope this helps!
