Hi there,
Attempting to start a vehicle by bypassing the proper ignition components could be a red flag since it raises questions about security and legality concerns. We cannot suggest details in this community platform about this topic since the information could used by car thieves. If you lost your key or key fob, please check with a professional locksmith or contact your local Dealership. I hope this helps for now!

Hi to put it as simple as possible it's a really bad idea but if you have to. I have an 06 ram quadcab with hemi and pretty much all base acc. Ok so keep in mind just starting the truck doesn't unlock the steering column so you will not get far unless your on the longest straight a way on the planet but you need to first disconnect battery go to driverside remove the ignition now this step is important or the truck will not run you are going to trick the computer into thinking the key is in the switch so the fuel pump comps and everything else will work now there's a couple of ways I've learned through many of years of standing around someone's car/truck trying to figure out exactly what part is needed cuz if u have a hemi and or a ram parts are rediculous and I'm a very big believer in the saying I've heard from every mechanic I've ever known. That is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!! Now I've never been rich and the thought scares me I like my small circle like it is anyway you want to get a short piece of wire and your going to jump out the switch just connect it to the wiring connectors on the switch. Next your going to have to lay under the truck and this part can be unnerving but get a good size xxxx driver preferably with rubber handle and lay under and touch the battery connection to the solenoid connector and it's going to turn over the starter as long as u have the short wire getting connection on the back of the switch it will start and run like normal. Your only obstacle now is unlocking the steering column and short of breaking it sorry to say it can't be done safely but your truck will run at least I hope this helped you out with your issues
