Hi there,
The most common tools to use and remove the hub bearings in a Subaru Crosstrek are a hub-bearing puller and a slide hammer (used in conjunction with the hub-bearing puller). 1. Hub bearing puller. It consists of arms and hooks that grip onto the bearing and a center xxxx that applies force to separate the bearing from the hub. When buying, you have to specify it to be used for a Subaru Crosstrek. 2. Slide hammer. It attaches to the puller and provides the force needed to remove the bearing from the hub. It is slid back and forth to apply the appropriate force and gradually loosen the bearing from the hub. I hope this helps!
