Hi there,
Before doing the job, please make sure you have all the necessary tools and safety gear to accomplish the task. It is better if you have a resource service manual to carefully guide you. Here is the procedure to do it. 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. 2. Locate the idler pulley. It is at the front of the engine. 3. Remove idler pulley tension. Use a bar or rachet to rotate the pulley (located near the idler pulley) in the direction noted to relieve the tension on the serpentie belt. Slide the belt off once tension is released. 4. Loosen and remove the idler pulley bolt and remove the idler pulley. 5. Install the new idler pulley and bracket. Tighten the mounting bolt and check the correct torque specifications. 6. Reinstall the serpentine belt. Install the belt carefully by rotating the tensioner pulley to release the tension. Then slide the belt to the idler pulley. 7. Check the belt again, if it is within the standard tension. 8. Reconnect the battery terminal. 9. Start the engine and check if the belt is running good on the engine. I hope this helps!
