Hello there.
I can confirm that it is not possible to remove and replace the spark plugs on the firewall side of the 2002 Mercury Sable Vulcan engine without first removing the intake manifold. The intake manifold covers the area where the spark plugs are located, making it nearly impossible to access and work on the spark plugs without removing the manifold.
Click this link to choose among the options we have available. Choose only those with the "Guaranteed to Fit" badge and order at a discounted price while supplies last.
We hope this helps. Have a nice day!
