Hi there,
I checked our catalog listing and we only have a fuel sending unit (fuel level sensor) for the US-built models. We do not have one for models built in Korea.

Hi Joseph.
When it comes to replacing a faulty fuel level sensor in your 2012 Kia Optima SX, it is generally recommended to use the exact part specified by the dealer or manufacturer. The last four digits of the part number can indicate specific variations or revisions of the part.
While a part with a slightly different letter in the part number may physically fit and function in your vehicle, there is a possibility that it may not provide accurate readings or may not integrate perfectly with the existing wiring and systems. This can result in incorrect fuel level readings or potential compatibility issues.
To ensure the best possible performance and accuracy, it is advisable to obtain the exact part specified by the dealer or manufacturer. While online parts may sometimes have slight variations in their part numbers, it is essential to find a part that matches the original part number as closely as possible.
If you're having difficulty finding the exact part with the Q designation online, I recommend reaching out to Kia dealerships or authorized parts suppliers directly. They may be able to assist you in sourcing the correct part or provide further guidance on any suitable alternatives. By using the exact part specified by the manufacturer, you can ensure proper compatibility and accurate fuel level readings.
We hope this helps. Have a nice day.
