Hi there,
The trouble code P0965 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for "Pressure Control Solenoid B Control Circuit Range/Performance". This can happen for multiple reasons, and a mechanic needs to diagnose the specific cause for this code to be triggered in your situation. Pressure control solenoids are located inside the transmission and are responsible for controlling pressure within the transmission's hydraulic circuits. Transmission fluid allows the transmission to change gears because it creates hydraulic pressure that moves the gears to their appropriate positions. The code P0965 is set by the PCM when it detects that the "B" pressure control solenoid control circuit is out of the normal range for optimum performance.
