I believe you would have to remove the valve cover and possibly the water pump.

NOT COMPLETELY, I HAVE SOLD MANY AND IF ITS LIKE THE ONES I HAVE HAD ON MY LOT THE ENGINE IS CHEAPER TO REPLACE THAN DOING THE TIMING BECAUSE OF LABOR.
