- Fuel delivery system
- Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor or wiring connectors
- O2 sensor wiring or connectors
- Engine mechanical system
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Are all possible causes for your issue, the best way to check this is with a scan tool at your local shop or if youre up for it start with the easiest and work your way down the list

Hi there,
The OBD-II fault code P1128 is manufacturer specific and is defined as “closed loop fueling not achieved bank 1”.
Meaning the engine is not reaching a state where it can run using the information from the engine sensors. The possible causes are issues with the fuel delivery system, MAP sensor and wiring connectors, oxygen sensor issues or a defective power train control module (PCM). Visual check the related wiring harness and connectors. Check for damaged components and look for broken, bent, pushed-out, or corroded connector pins, checking the battery charge and terminals, and alternator charging. If the battery and alternator are fine, the integrated power module (PCM) may be damaged. I hope this helps!
