Hi there,
The hard-to-shift from 3rd gear to overdrive has several causes. Those are possible faulty/worn-out clutch, low transmission fluid levels, transmission synchronizer issues, transmission linkage problems, and clutch hydraulic system issues. In most cases, a possible transmission solenoid malfunction is the most common cause. You may need to have your vehicle checked by a shop or a certified mechanic to run a diagnostic and isolate the issue with a trouble code.

Sounds like your transmission is starting to go out . You probably need a new one or probably be cheaper to get a new vehicle
