You can but not recommend

Hello!
We would not recommend replacing a 25-30 amp relay with a 40 amp relay for a coil. A relay's amp rating is designed to match the precise electrical requirement needs of the circuit it is meant to manage. If the circuit is designed to withstand a maximum current of 25-30 amps and you install a 40 amp relay, the circuit may overheat, cause wire breakage, or even present a fire danger.
