It may be low on fluid may need to check your fluid level and top off if needed if not you can contact a professional. If it's leaking fluid and your fluid gets low then it will start slipping when you start sleeping you're in trouble you going to have to have transmission repair or new transmission probably if it starts sleeping if you don't do something now.

Hi. Good day!
A 1995 Honda Accord LX with an automatic transmission that has a delay when shifting from Park to Drive could be the result of a number of issues.
1) Low transmission fluid is a common cause of delayed shifting. When the transmission fluid level is low, it can cause the transmission to have difficulty shifting gears.
2) Faulty shift interlock solenoid is a component that prevents the vehicle from being shifted out of Park unless the brake pedal is depressed. If the solenoid is faulty, it can cause a delay in shifting from Park to Drive.
3) Malfunctioning Transmission Control Module (TCM): The TCM is responsible for controlling the transmission's shifting patterns. If the TCM is malfunctioning, it may not allow the transmission to shift gears properly, resulting in a delay when shifting from Park to Drive.
4) Worn or damaged transmission components. Over time, the transmission components, such as the clutch packs and bands, can become worn or damaged, which can cause a delay in shifting.
We recommend having a qualified mechanic perform real-time diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of the problem.

Some vehicles need to have a hot transmission when checking the
Level, in some cases when you pull out the dipstick it will tell you where the level of the fluid should be when cold, and where the level should be hot.
