Hi there! It seems there are multiple issues with your vehicle. It's best to have your trusted local auto repair shop/certified mechanic inspect it to know the problems you're encountering. Actual or real-time troubleshooting and diagnostic is always the best way to address vehicle issues. Hope this helps!

Always replace the PCV valve gasket when replacing your old PCV. If dry parts fell into your intake manifold it could cause all sorts of issues; namely clogged oil journals for valve train. Sounds like you've gotten into some pretty harsh conditions.
Power steering fluid low would indicate a leak in the system which could make its way to the exhaust pipe or header. This could account for the burning "gas" and exhaust smell. If it were mine I'd pull the valve cover and inspect the valve train, change the oil and read the codes that are most likely present. Your local parts house can read the codes from your OBD for free and help out with finding problem areas. Toyotas are pretty reliable vehicles generally speaking but can get "finicky" with gaskets and the like.
