It's possible that the new mirrors have been installed in reverse. In other words, the wiring for the controls may have been connected incorrectly, causing the mirror movement to be the opposite of what you expect. To resolve the issue, you should check the wiring and make sure it's connected correctly, or consider having a professional mechanic take a look.

Hello there.
Since those are new mirrors and the mirror moves up and down, and sideways, it is unlikely that there is anything wrong with the motors in the mirror. It could be the mirror switch that is faulty. The switch controls the connections by reversing the directions. If one tab is bent, the mirror will not function properly in the direction(s) for which that tab is necessary to complete the circuit.
