To diagnose a stuck fuel gauge on a 2014 Toyota Avalon, the following steps can be taken:
Check the fuel level sender: The fuel level sender is responsible for sending a signal to the fuel gauge to indicate the amount of fuel in the tank. A failed fuel level sender can cause the fuel gauge to display an incorrect reading or to become stuck.
Inspect the wiring: The wiring between the fuel level sender and the gauge may be damaged or corroded, causing the fuel gauge to become stuck.
Test the gauge: The gauge itself may be faulty and need to be replaced. A test can be performed using a multimeter to check the resistance of the gauge and to see if it is functioning properly.
Check the fuel gauge circuit: A malfunction in the fuel gauge circuit can cause the gauge to become stuck. The circuit should be tested to verify if there is a problem.
Check the fuel pump: A failed fuel pump can prevent fuel from flowing to the engine and cause the fuel gauge to become stuck.
It is recommended to have the vehicle inspected and repaired by a professional mechanic to accurately diagnose and repair the issue with the fuel gauge. An incorrect fuel gauge reading can result in driving with an insufficient amount of fuel and can lead to engine damage.

May need to get a scan tool and read the codes if there is any, if there isn't any u may need to take your gauge cluster out, if there is simply clear the code
