Hello there.
A failing throttle position sensor causes slow acceleration, sudden idle surges, sudden acceleration surges while driving, and intermittent flashing of the check engine light. Another cause of an engine's hesitation to accelerate is a fuel/air mixture that is too lean.
We recommend that the vehicle be checked by a certified mechanic for real-time diagnosis to determine which part(s) need to be replaced. Once the replacement part has been identified, follow this link to our website, where your vehicle information has already been entered. You only need to type the part's name into the search bar.
Have a great day!
